When I first applied for honors, I thought it was just an opportunity to receive scholarships, but the benefits are so much more than I would have ever expected. This group has benefited me not only economically, but socially, academically, and mentally. Honors has become my family. they are warm and open to all different kinds of people. I honestly cannot imagine a life without these people in it. Academically, it gives me the challenge I need and the resources to succeed. Not only are smaller class sizes a plus but professors seem more eager to help because they know I have put in the work to get where I am. Honors classes are notorious for not adding more work, just making it a little more challenging to make us think. As a nurse, I will need as much practice critical thinking as possible. There is not a day that goes by that I regret applying for this community. for the honors courses I have taken, please view the following links.
