I have never been the greatest at history. It is my second most dreaded subject because of its nitpicky dates and often not interesting at all. Going into this class, I was still learning how to study for college. This class taught me the importance of reading the textbook, not just skimming over the powerpoint chapters. Because this class was online, everything was taught by powerpoints that were not very descriptive and the textbook. It forced me to actually read the textbook and low and behold ended up doing great in the class and learning a lot about ancient cultures.
