The Press Release assignment was our chance to follow guidelines to a tee and design a document accurately based off of a template. This assignment will help those of us who go into human resources or marketing. We had to practice speaking more objectively and using language that reflected our non-bias. This practice will be useful in the workplace generally. Any time we focus on the seven Cs we create better professional writing habits. I’m glad we got assigned this paper because I’ve been exposed to something I probably would’ve never been exposed to.
