I took MATH 304 in the Spring of 2020 and I found it to be very interesting. We looked at how certain famous mathematical equations and concepts were discovered by civilizations far less advanced than our own. We also studied how those civilizations used mathematics to make their lives easier.

Attached above is one of the papers I wrote for this class. In this paper, we discussed the Ancient Chinese’s method of solving simultaneous linear equations. The Chinese are credited with setting the groundwork for modern day Linear Algebra as well as Gauss-Jordan Elimination.
