HONS CTZN 110- Bodies and Citizens

Bodies and Citizens was an honors class I took in the Fall semester of 2018. Even though some of the topics covered in the class were controversial, I found it best to keep an open mind throughout and enjoyed to hear other classmate’s viewpoints. It was interesting to learn about various topics that I previously hadn’t thought that deeply about. The political differences amongst my classmates and I kept the class fresh and thought provoking.

Minorities in STEM

Above is my final project for Bodies and Citizens. I researched how minorities are treated in fields of work in which white males dominate, such as STEM. As well as organizations that push minorities into pursuing a degree in a STEM field.
