I took this class in the Fall semester of 2018 and I really enjoyed it. I felt that this class was very important for me because it helped me to remember some of the basic functions in mathematics that I will regularly use as a physics major.
Above is a paper I wrote for this class. It discussed how area can be maximized, given a finite amount of fencing using calculus methods. These scenarios are applied in real life everyday by engineers and it’s a good tool to know how to do if you are planning to go into a STEM field.
