In the beginning of the school year I had the opportunity to go to a nearby farm and help with painting, during the honors retreat. I loved doing this and it helped me bond with some of my fellow honors college peers, while also doing something to help the community. I think that it is very important to go out and help in the community and I hope to get more involved with service in the community in the future.
