Community

One of the places this year in which I have built a good sense of community at Longwood is from my job as a student worker in Dorrill Dining Hall. Working there has given me the opportunity to work with so many different students and make new friends within the Longwood community. Working in the dining hall, I am able to see and talk to many other students, even when they are just passing through. I have also been given the opportunity to become a student supervisor next year, where I can further my relationship with more Longwood students.

I have also think that living in Wheeler Residence Hall has made the honors community feel much stronger. This year I shared lots of classes with the people on my floor, and it made it easier to get in touch with people. Living in Wheeler is definitely something I will miss about my freshman year.
