Reflection
The formal report was an extensive group paper. This required research on different websites as well as a class presentation. This assignment completed learning outcome five, “Practice oral communication skills to present content effectively (enhanced with multimedia tools).” After researching different websites, my group had to create a presentation presenting our ideas to the company that hired us. We then had to analyze the three websites and complete different surveys to come up with data to comprise an evaluation. This report helped me with my time management skills because of how long and how much research I had to conduct. I spent time looking at my assigned website and then formatting the paper for my group. Through this writing assignment, I had to complete different letters, analysis, as well as formatting the paper. This report will help in the future, as I am sure that I will have to complete more reports in my professional career. Given my profession, in my future, I will have to write many reports and having an idea of what the layout of this report looks like will allow me to be successful.
