At first glance, someone might look at this photo and see three kiwis but look closer and you see the kitten’s face. Eventually, you notice that the kitten’s body is the middle ‘kiwi’. The brain sees the familiar fruit (the fuzzy hairs, the roundness, and the sticker) and associates the middle object as the same thing as the objects around it since it is so similar to the others. This is called analogical code.
