A Community is a group of individuals who share something in common that links them together.Within the greater Longwood community there are a multitude of various sub communities. From fraternities and sororities, to clubs and organizations all the way down to living on the same floor, the sense of community in Longwood runs strong.

However for the students of the Cormier Honors College this link goes deeper than simply belonging to the same school, organization or program. Instead community means being accepted for who you are, and having a place where are you not just among your peers, but at home. Honors students are thereby given the added benefit of a community that they can always lean on or go back to: the other honors college students.
