This project really gets you thinking about all the aspects of the rhetoric situations and how it influences the public into action. We picked an artifact that we would like to break down and analyze using what we had learn from our chapter readings and class discussions. I chose one of Al Gore’s Speeches on global warming. After reading his speech I first need to establish his ethos. Then I broke it down into sections of support facts through logos and looked for the emotion pull to help bring about the pathos. After I had established these key factors, I then applied other key terms from our chapter readings to find the strength and power of his argument that he used to move his audience into action for his cause.
