World Language Perspectives – Begin Integrated Lang & Cult
Going into my second semester of Spanish, I wasn’t dreading it as much at first semester much to the fact that I had Profesora Sanchez again. The class picked up exactly where Spanish 110 ended. This made it easy to keep learning that same way and made the transition to the new semester smooth. Spanish unexpectedly became my favorite class of the semester. No longer was I dreading having to speak Spanish in front of Professor Sanchez and the class.
The final project for Spanish 210 was researching a Spanish festival. My partner and I pick Carnival de Ponce, a festival in Puerto Rico. This project and this festival meant a lot to be since I am half Puerto Rican. I have actually visited the town of Ponce and knew a lot of the culture that we presented in the project from experience.
