Goal 5: Mathematical Thought

I fulfilled my General Education goal 5 by taking Math 121, which was functions and graphing. During this class we learned about different types of functions, graphs, and how to manipulate them to look for the information you want to know. We also looked at possible scenarios for problems and had to determine appropriate answers based on the situation. For example when asked about animals you can not answer that you have 2.56 ocelots. The artifact for this page is a paper I wrote about a potential situation you could use math to solve, but it was focused on the variables and why this is or is not a good situation to use math.
