Music was always a passion of mine in high school, so I was glad to be able to take a music related course during my time at Longwood. This class was focused on thinking about music in a different way than you normally would. For example, we were put in groups and had to analyze music in a movie we were assigned. My favorite project by far, however, was the final project where we had to relate music to our major. The project was very open ended to allow us to be creative with it. My project was a plan for an experimental trial to prove that students are more productive in a classroom environment when classical music is playing. Below is the paper I wrote for the assignment.
