This goal was completed by the Honors GNED 400 class in Yellowstone National Park. This trip and the accompanying class changed my life and related to the GNED 162 class from earlier in my college career. I never put much thought into how much of an impact I could have on the environment until I took this class. I was focused on human impact in the parks during this trip, and it really opened my eyes to just how big of a role we play in the environment. I also had the great pleasure of getting to know Mr. Scott Frazier, an American Indian, on this trip. It was so interesting to learn about his religion and their practices compared to Christianity, which is what I practice. What I really learned from him was that we are not all so different as much as some people might want us to think.
