It was a cold and cloudless night. . .

The class was gathered around the fire after exploring Werowocomoco with one of the head anthropologists relaxing in the heat of the inferno. Our English professor, Dr. Miller, sat in a metal chair the collections of Edgar Allen Poe with a light illuminating the text in front of him. If one looked out at the sky they would observe that there was not a single cloud in the night sky allowing the stars and full moon to easily reflect upon the water’s surface behind us. In a low voice, he read many of Poe’s tales even allowing some of the students to read aloud as well (I read about a survivor of the Spanish Inquisition). It was a very enjoyable experience!
