This article really shows the differences in cultures about what appearances are favored over others. I found it interesting that even if men had mustaches that they had surgery anyway because it wasn’t thick enough. I know that I personally only think of the U.S. has having appearances that we favor even though I know that’s not true but being from the U.S. I tend to focus more on it than other cultures. It’s just kind of amusing what other cultures favor when it comes to appearances. I don’t know if it’s a good or bad thing that Middle Eastern men focus on mustaches instead of body type like we do.
I find this article interesting because I have never looked at mustaches being impowering. I find them more of an amusing feature!
