I really enjoyed reading this article. While reading the post it made me think of the idea that women are sometimes expected to be “superwoman” by taking care of the children, maintaining the household, all while holding down a job. Anne-Marie Slaughter brought up a good point in saying that “women can’t have it all” because it is near impossible for women to be able to effectively take on all these roles.
I find this article incredibly interesting. It reminds me of the concept of “role” and how many women struggle with having professional lives and being a mother.
