The icon displayed next to your sites on the Longwood blogs list and next to comments you post on blogs is called a Gravatar (for globally recognized avatar). The Gravatar service is operated by the makers of our blogging platform, WordPress. Gravatars are specific to an e-mail address and blog icons are specific to the blog owner’s gravatar. Follow these steps to setup your gravatar:

1. Go to gravatar.com
2. Use the link on the gravatar homepage to sign up
3. Enter your Longwood e-mail address in the form that appears
4. Check your e-mail for confirmation of your gravatar and follow the link that the e-mail contains
5. You’ll be automatically directed to a page where you can set your password and gravatar image
