10:00 a.m.  What Would You Do?  How strong are your problem-solving skills? Attendees will be divided into teams and will be given an event scenario gone wrong. What is your solution?

10:30 a.m.  Discussion with Our Experts  A peer-to-peer round-table discussion with our experts sharing their insights about building your career as an event planner.

11:30 a.m.  Part I – What Would You Do?  With solutions to the event scenario gone wrong, each team will present their unique solution, sparking a critique from our experts.

12:15 p.m.  Lunch will be provided and is sponsored by Graduate and Professional Studies at Longwood University. Enjoy the campus while networking with fellow participants.

1:00 p.m.  Part II – What Would You Do?  With solutions to the event scenario gone wrong, each team will present their unique solution, sparking a critique from our experts.

1:45 p.m.  A View from Our Speakers  Tim, Peggy, John, and Berkley get down to brass tacks on what it takes to do their job.

2:15 p.m.  Speed Mentoring  Dust off your elevator speech. Each attendee will have 1:1 time with our experts. Ask questions to jumpstart your event planning career.

3:30 p.m.  Q&A with Speakers  You have one more question for our experts? Go for it and leave energized and informed.

4:00 p.m.  What’s Ahead?  Upcoming event planning webinars and workshops.
