Reflection:
We were assigned an eight-page rhetorical analysis paper to be conducted on a rhetorical artifact of our choosing. I decided on an episode of the popular Netflix Original Series, Black Mirror. The episode I chose, Nose Dive, discussed the issue of social media addiction. I analyzed the artifact with the use of the course concepts we discussed in class. I concluded that with the use of visual symbols, pathos, logos, and resignification, the creator, Charlie Brooker was able to convey to his audience his concerns on the issue of social media addiction.
