The lab for Organic Chemistry was pretty confusing. One missed step and you can ruin the whole experiment. My partners and I asked our professor, Dr. Slavin, necessary question so we would not miss any important steps.

I enjoyed learning how to make glow sticks. My lab group’s glow stick was the brightest out of the whole class. I learned the different names of certain tools/instruments used in this class. I learned how to be safe and aware of hazards.

Overall, this class helped prepare me for the future chemistry courses I have to take. I feel more comfortable asking questions and being cautious of my surroundings.
