Genetics was an interesting class. It was a refresher class and also a more in depth class. Dr. Barber was a great professor! She is sooooo smart. At first, it was hard to follow along with her way of teaching. But after a few weeks, things became much easier. This class was not a class you can just study the night before and pass. Plus, it is a cumulative course.

In lab, we were able to observe the microbial diversity in Prince Edward County. The procedures for each lab were really long and tedious, but once we discover which bacterias were in our samples, the lab was awesome! Our class created a blog with all of the different bacterias found. We found one from Japan, how cool??!!
