Goal 1- LSEM 100-50

Reflection:

LSEM gave me a support system that lead me smoothly into college life. I felt able to talk to my professor and peer mentor for any help I needed, and that help was definitely needed my first semester of freshman year. I learned how to manage time my time, stay focused, and how to be open to new things. I chose the three artifacts below because they exhibit my growth in the class. The first being a picture of me and a few of my classmates that I opened up and became friendly with throughout the class. Second, I have my four year plan that we were required to make. It truly helped me see what I needed to get done over the next four years and encouraged me to see how attainable the ultimate goal of graduating was. Lastly, I have a journal entry about resources that I learned and should use throughout my next four years. These journals encouraged me to think harder about topics and open up as a writer.

Four Year Plan created in LSEM. Helped me get a sense of how to plan my schedule for the next four years.

Example of a journal entry from October 23, 2016. We had to submit journals almost every Sunday; I feel I became a better, more open writer through this process.
