In high school I never thought much of myself in terms of being a writer or writing anything. However, this Freshman writing course changed that for me. I never thought I could write such astounding papers. During this course, we had 2 major works: a 2-part Research Narrative, and an Argument Analysis. I really enjoyed doing both of these because I can find something to look forward to when writing papers. Attached in this reflection, I have provided my Argument Analysis for previewing. This Analysis was done by comparing the Arguments of Dee Snider of Twisted Sister and Frank Zappa at the 1985 PMRC Senate Hearing. They were both arguing against censoring music by providing labels that would advertise that music as inappropriate. There were also others who testified but we were focusing on these two.
