Sample Work Documents
Here is a page containing a few of my favorite sample work documents! Enjoy!
This first document is a blog post I made focusing on my want and desire for students to be more interested and passionate about writing. In this blog post, I explain how I want to incorporate media to enhance their learning and I make an oath to be an innovative and unique teacher.
This next document is a lesson plan that a few colleagues and I worked on that was based off of writing narratives. We narrowed the topic down and wanted the students to focus on strengthening their character descriptions. We do this by using the “to, with, by”/”teach, practice, apply” method to engage and aid our students.
The next document is another lesson plan focusing on grammar. This lesson plan focuses on students understanding the difference between “they, them, their,” referring to everyone, or to a person. In this lesson, I created an activity called, “Stand, Sit, Raise” to get the students engaged and moving to help their retain the information.
Last, but not least, I included a PowerPoint that shows my “Future Classroom.” This document includes my classroom climate, behavior management, our daily routine, and even more! My future classroom has an adventure/travel theme, with a class motto of “No matter where I go, learning is my destination!”
