Service: Service means to help others in ways that are needed. A person’s commitment to serve others is not limited to community service. It is a broad range of different positive actions that are taken on by a person for the betterment of the greater good.

I have demonstrated service to my classmates, Farmville and Longwood Univeristy by:

• picking up rocks to clean the horse farm during the honors college retreat
• serving as a mentor during Buddy Ball
• being an intern in the Longwood University Athletic Department
• applying to serve as a Cormier Honors College Peer Mentor next year
• giving honors tours for high school seniors.
