Assessment of Student Library Advisory Committee

This presentation discusses the planning, executing, and assessing of the Student Library Advisory Committee at Greenwood Library. The purpose of the group is to communicate ideas regarding improvement of existing library services and implementation of new ones; to allow student committee members the opportunity to serve as representatives for their peers in capturing and considering feedback; and to serve as library advocates to the student body.
Vicki Palmer is the Research Services, Marketing & Outreach Librarian in her third year at Longwood University. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from Kent State University and a Master’s degree from the University of Tennessee in Information Sciences.
