History 222: US History 1877 – Modern Times

This course was one of my favorites from the Fall 2018 semester. While it was very lecture heavy, it was a very interesting course. Professor Frisbee-Fulton was excellent, she truly cared about her students and often gave personal insight into her experiences as an American in certain time periods. This class reminded me a lot of AP US history, which I took in high school, but I still learned a lot of new ideas and historical events. This class focused a lot on more modern events, like Civil Rights, Women’s rights, and even details on modern warfare.

Attached is one of several research papers we were required to do. The papers were all based on a provided source, such as documents and/or videos and without a doubt helped me grasp the concepts and movements on a much greater level.
