I hypothesized that families who were of higher SES would be slightly more involved than those who were not. In other words, the more money a family makes, the more they are involved in the activities with their kids.
For every one-unit increase in socioeconomic status, there is a -0.1034 decrease of the family involvement. Therefore, it appears that involvement in an activity is negatively correlated to the household’s income. The finding is insignificant. The R^2 statistic is 0.005917, meaning that this model explains 0.5917% of the variation in the dependent variable (Family involvement).
