About Me
Greetings!
Welcome to my webpage. A little about myself. I am a English Major at Longwood University. I hope to take the skills learned from that and apply them to a career in the United States Coast Guard as either a public relations specialist or intelligence specialist. But that is not all! I am also currently president of the Longwood Dressage team, and horses have been my passion for many many years. I am also working on starting a project with the university on mental health awareness as well as Code Red training and knowledge for all faculty and students. Through doing all of this, I have come to realize the power of our language. From writing funny stories about my experiences with horses, to proposing a Code Red training course, it is clear that words have the power to effect change. That change could simply be making someone’s crappy day better by making them laugh, or by giving them tools that could save their life or the lives of others.
