There was no difference in engagement between low income and high-income families for those that showed low and high engagement. Low-income families were more moderately engaged than high income families. High income families were mostly highly engaged, while low-income families were mostly moderately engaged. The chi-squared value was 4.68. Therefore, household income does not influence child engagement.
