Hello, everyone. My name is John Ward and I am an English major with a concentration in Professional Writing at Longwood University. This blog is part of the Rhetorical Criticism class as well as my own interest in the rhetorical aspects of popular culture.
This blog is for everyone who wants to see an rhetorical observation of popular media or culture. What I am going to cover is a variety of topics such as technology, literature, music, and some occasional memes.
For this blog, the intended audience is primarily my peers and Dr. Guler. However, it could be some outside observers who like blogs about popular culture. When the class concludes this blog can be an excellent exercise in my understanding of blogging and social networking.
