Community is an important pillar to the Cormier Honors College. The honors community is so much more than just a group of people who share some of the same classes. Through the honors college I have been able to meet some of my best friends and build such close relationships. During my very first week at Longwood, on the honors retreat, we were all able to participate in activities to help us develop these friendships, work as a team and make the honors community a tight knit group. It has been so nice to have that constant support from my honors community to have my back and to push me academically. I have also been able to become a part of other communities through Club Tennis and Alpha Sigma Alpha. I cannot wait to see how much more my community at Longwood will grow in the next three years.
