Reflection

In this course, I had the opportunity to learn how to make a brochure. I was paired with a partner and we had to come up with an idea for a product or a service idea of any sort. We came up with a Winter Wonderland Experience, where our customers can receive all the festive actives and even get to go into a real big snow globe. For the course learning outcomes, number four and six fall for this assignment. The fourth course learning outcome is, “create professional documents that use design principles.” I got learn what a brochure is used for and I got to learn to make. I got to learn how to organize one and what the best information to go on it is. The sixth course learning outcome is, “participate productively in collaborative projects.” My partner and I got to work together and collaborate with our ideas to make our project the best. We got to hear each others ideas and we got to ask each other questions if we weren’t sure about something to get a better understanding. Being able to work with partners that was chosen for us was fun. We get to learn how each other work and we get to meet new people that we might not have ever met. This assignment was very enjoyable and I hope in the future I can make a brochure for something real and use my skills that I learned in this course to make it perfect.
