Professional Report

Reflection

For this course, I had the opportunity to learn how to write a professional report. We got to put our skills to work and create our own professional report. This assignment was very detailed and time consuming. My group and I worked long and hard on this.This assignment was aligned with all six of the course learning outcomes. For the first learning outcome, we had two different scenarios to choose from and we picked the second one, so we had to come up with literally everything. We had to come up with the different corporations, the problem, and the situation. For the second learning outcome, we came up with a targeted audience for our report. We did our audience as school bored member, parents, teachers, and eve students. For the third course learning we did some research on different professional reports that did something similar to what we did. We researched information on other schools to help us with our information. We also had different types of documents that we had to write, so we got to look up different examples of those to help us the most. For the fourth course learning outcome we had to create one large professional document with many little ones throughout it. We had to make sure they were all written correctly and made sure everything was well organized. For the fifth course learning outcome we had to come up with a presentation to present to our peers on our professional report. We learned to communicate throughout our group and thought our peers. We had to give a presentation using the Eight C’s that we learned in the begging of the course. Then the last course learning outcome we came together through this while professional report and collaborated together. We shared our ideas all around and we helped each other out when needed and we communicated through the whole process. This assignment would have to be the most stressful, but most beneficial assignment that we did in this course. I am glad that I got the opportunity to create a professional report and hopefully in the future I will be able to do one on my own or help create one.
