Data Analysis
I recently did a little bit of research into how highly educated people were by age groups. AmericanFactFinder presented me with raw data from 2016 for the number of people who had achieved some form of higher education, broken down by age groups and gender. I chose to focus on only the groups between the ages of 18-24 years old and 25 and over. I then presented the percentages for the respective populations in a pie chart format. Each chart was given it’s own page for ease of reading.
Data Analysis Higher education
The second set of data analyzed was the population of American citizens classified as disabled by age. The age ranges ran between under 18, between 18-65, and over 65 years old. Once again the data was provided by AmericanFactFinder. This data was particularly interesting to me as I have an interest in social justice and exist as a disabled person, so to see over a quarter of the population identify as disabled by retirement age was fascinating to me.
