Hello! My name is Kellie Knight and I will be getting a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work, with a minor in Criminal Justice at Longwood University in May 2024. I have a passion for helping children and families. I hope to get experience in the field working with these populations, before obtaining my master’s degree within the next two years. While completing my undergraduate degree, I completed an internship at the University of Virginia Medical Center and Albemarle County Department of Social Services, which provided me with invaluable experiences. After obtaining my master’s degree, I hope to work with the military population, helping families experiencing the effects of deployment. An additional interest I have is in the field of school social work.
