Hello! My name is Kaylee Parrott and I am currently a student attending the social work program at Longwood University with plans to graduate in May of 2023. As the daughter of both a nurse and a police officer, I have always grown up in an environment that stressed the importance of helping others, which ultimately guided my decision to become a social worker.
Ever since beginning the social work program, I have had a desire to work in the mental health field with both children and adolescent populations with a drive to guide these populations to push themselves to their full potential to ensure that these children and adolescents are prepared to have both bright and secure futures.
Besides working with children and adolescents, I also hold strong interests in school social work, forensics, and counseling services.
