Teaching for Beginners

Technology in the Classroom

In an article called Classroom Tech Trends to Watch there was an interesting part at the beginning that talked about how in some schools, students are actually permitted to use cell phones in class.  The article states that because most modern phones are able to download apps that can pretty much do anything, as well as come equipped with tools like cameras, calculators, and even built in lights; that it might actually make the learning process easier for both the students and the teachers.

The article talks about a few other ways new technology can be integrated into the classroom.  Most interesting is how Microsoft’s new program Mouse Mischief can create a fun interactive aspect to a teacher and/or a students power point presentation.
