The dependent variable for this ANOVA was family involvement. This was asked on a 0-10 scale. The independent variable for this ANOVA was education level attained. Respondents chose either “High School”, “Some College”, or “College degree or higher”. The mean involvement for a high school education was 6.25 out of 10. The mean involvement for some college education was 9.00 out of 10. The mean involvement for college degree or higher education was 2.82 out of 10. According to the ANOVA results (F=.049) there is a significant difference between these means at the .05 level. Therefore, education attainment does have an influence on family involvement.
