My name is Abigail Hoffman, I am a social work major at Longwood University. I will be graduating in Spring 2024 with my BSW. I will be continuing my education at VCU to earn my MSW in Spring 2025. As a social worker, I want to serve the older adult population and help people age with dignity. I have experience and a passion for working with individuals experiencing dementia as well as their family caregivers. I completed my Junior Internship at Legacy Hospice providing end-of-life support. I completed my senior internship at Circle Center Adult Day Services where I performed various responsibilities involving helping older adults and caregivers with the journey of aging.
