One final achievement of mine was the opportunity to co-host the Annual Transition Zoom for the families of ITC of Heartland with a fellow student intern and classmate. The goal of this presentation was to educate and inform the families served by ITC on what options they have when exiting our program in order to prevent gaps in services for their child and also the family as a whole.
