Formal Report

Formal Reports are essential in the professional world because they explain research granted by a specific field and it analyzes what a company can improve in. This was a collaborative effort and we researched the importance of customer satisfaction and customer involvement through companies websites. Our company modeled a successful law website design company and we analyzed a local law firms websites. After analyzing the website and completing our research, we provided recommendations. We compared the local law firm’s bad website to three following successful law firms: Allen Allen Allen Allen & Allen, Khalil W. Latiff Law Firm, and Elder & Watkins P.C.

In order to compare results, we administered an anonymous survey to the potential clients and we asked if each website achieved the ease of navigation, overall design, and a list of detailed services.  I particularly analyzed the Allen Allen Allen & Allen Law Website and I felt as though their website was sufficient in all three areas. Allen & Allen law firm had bold text for titles and they had a video in the background of a family hiking. Their main focus is injury law and they highlighted that by placing it over the video and by providing a lists of services on the home page. There was also a link that finishes the services listed and a slide show video explaining the mission of the company. Within this document I had to provide survey results and use correct grammar. We also had to create letters of transmittal before we began the analysis.

After finding and describing our analysis we presented a power point of our survey results and we presented as if we were presenting to the retrieving company. This project encouraged me and my peers to master public speaking, collaboration, and elaborate research. We had to research website design and customer satisfaction effectively in order for our analysis to be credible.
