Over the course of the semester, myself along with my partner, created a workshop on intimate partner violence in dating and marital relationships specifically for college students. The purpose of this assignment was to raise awareness of such a prevalent issue in society and provide education to both perpetrators, victims, and witnesses. Our target audience was college students as IPV has the highest prevalence among individuals in the emerging adulthood phase (18-30). This product is appropriate our audience because it provides education on risk factors, prevention methods, and statistics. Additionally, resources were provided for victims.
