Hi! My name is Emily Gough. I am a junior and an English Major here at Longwood University with a concentration in Creative Writing. I’ve always been a writer for as long as I can remember, but for a long time I didn’t want to do it professionally. I wanted to be a Medical Examiner, if you can believe it. These days, I’ve decided that I would like to work in a public library, possibly as a children’s librarian. My mom is an elementary school reading interventionist, so I suppose I was born into this. Mom instilled her passion for reading into me, and here I am, an English major.
