About Me

Hello, my name is Grace Freeman and I am currently a senior at Longwood University. I will be graduating in May of 2021 with a Biology major and Neuroscience Studies minor.

I transferred to Longwood after receiving my Associate’s Degree at Southside Virginia Community College. During my time here, I have been challenged both professionally and personally. This has shaped me into the academic that I am today.

I have participated in a number of organizations on campus, such as Alpha Chi Sigma (professional chemistry fraternity), Beta Beta Beta (National Biological Honors Society), Sigma Alpha Pi (The National Society of Leadership and Success), Women in STEM club, and more. I have also had the opportunity to work for the university as a peer tutor and as the assistant program manager for the Clean Virginia Waterways program.

Here, my blog outlines my academic journey through reflections and artifacts from some of my classes.
