Independent Samples T-Test
This is an independent samples t-test of parental involvement by how many hours a week are spent working. The two groups that can be defined by this question are: (1.) parents that work 29 or less hours a week (18), and (2.) parents that work 30 or more hours a week (81). The means of the two groups are 2 for group one and 2 for group two. The t-test statistics show that there is no significant difference between the two means. These results can be seen in Table 1. below.
