Reflection

Overall, this study changed how I previously conducted academic research. Before this research, I would only research broad topics. However, now I have learn to break it down and narrow down my research to get a better grasp on what it is I want to look at. In determining what sources I wanted to use, I used search engines that were reliable for peer-reviewed sources. Furthermore, I also looks for sources that were fairly recent. I stayed away from sources that were too far in the past as the information could be outdated. A challenge I had while conducting this research was looking for sources I wanted to include in my academic journal. I overcame this by narrowing down my focus and this action helped me finding articles I could use. This research changed my confidence level as I now have a better understanding on how to conduct academic research. “Thinking Like a Researcher” means to conduct academic research properly, to get a great background on what it is you want you use on your study. Furthermore, using this background, you can conduct a better study.
